Johannes Selbach created this second line of wines with the intention of producing high-quality Riesling at a reasonable price as an introduction to what one can get from great Mosel wine. He sources grapes from leased vineyards that are farmed under his supervision and vinifies them at a separate location from his premium range of Selbach-Oster wines, while still keeping sustainability in mind. This dry, structured Riesling has a nose of petrol and peaches with a zippy palate of green and yellow apples with a mineral finish.
